If you love animals and are looking for new ways to connect, our Online Program may be a ‘paw-fect’ fit.

In this two-year course, participants (aged 12+) learn animal behaviour basics through fun and engaging activities, quizzes, and video sessions.

Each term, we explore new aspects of the Animal Care Industry, including training, health, nutrition, enrichment, and grooming. Participants can join the weekly livestream session, where they will meet rescue shelter animals with our trainers virtually.

Participants gain an understanding of practical knowledge and experience step-by-step guidance on what is needed to care for a range of ‘paw-some’ shelter animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats, wildlife, and farm animals.

The program is delivered using a supported learning approach, encouraging participants to identify personal goals, which staff assist them in achieving.

Outcomes for participants

  • Increased confidence through positive training and skills attainment.

  • Increased social connections and support networks through a virtual community.

  • Increased sense of purpose and engagement with family/friends.

  • Better employment prospects.

  • Improvements in mental health and wellbeing.
