HPHH Darwin
A unique twist on animal-assisted therapy, HPHH provides hope and connection for socially isolated people living with disabilities, mental health challenges and PTSD, teaching them to care for shelter animals. We help veterans, first-responders and NDIS participants "return to life" while helping all creatures great and small.
We’ve launched our training courses in the Northern Territory, working in partnership with RSPCA Darwin.
Our proven model will be employed from the outset, including the engagement of local trainers, volunteers and support coordination agencies to ensure courses are available to local community members who need them most. Once up and running, participants will quickly learn skills to support the amazing team at the RSPCA with animal care, enrichment and training.
Location Partner
Our partnership with RSPCA Darwin will amplify the social impact of both organisations and enhance community involvement in onsite animal care and socialisation.
This much-needed support and expansion of the HPHH program into Northern Australia will help reach socially isolated participants in need of a helping hand and a wagging tail. Find out more about the amazing work at RSPCA Darwin.
