Sweet, shy dog works on his confidence at HPHH

Hi there, I’m Bullzye! I’m a Bull Arab / American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, or what some people call an ‘RSPCA special’ because I’m such a special boy! I’m a middle-aged man at 6 years and 4 months old, so as you can imagine, I’m a chill guy. I love to hang out and eat treats; I’m a chunky boy, but I’m working on it, okay?

I know my name makes me sound rough as guts, but I’m honestly a gentle and sweet man. I’ve been at the RSPCA Wacol since October 2023, but I only started attending Happy Paws Happy Hearts (HPHH) in early January 2024. I’ve been having a great time working on my confidence and socialisation. I can be particularly nervous around men, but I’ve been doing so great, accepting treats from men and being such a good boy.

I’m looking for my ‘fur-ever’ home, because as much as I love the RSPCA and HPHH, I really need a backyard and family to love me unconditionally. I’d ideally love to have indoor and outdoor access, so I can go wherever I feel like at the time. I also need to be the only dog in your life, and I need to be taken on walks and given exercise to shed my extra holiday weight.

I’m such an adventurous and brave boy, so when I’m exploring my new backyard, it needs to be enclosed by at least a 6-foot fence.

Could you be my human? Please check out my Adoption Profile on the RSPCA Qld website and come meet me at RSPCA Wacol.
