Snuggly sausage dog makes lots of human ‘fur-riends’ at HPHH

Hello 'fur-riends', I’m Sweetie! As my name implies, I’m a very sweet and snuggly lady who just wants to be loved. I’m the definition of a lap dog. If given the chance, I will climb onto your lap and stay there if you keep petting and paying attention to me.  

I’m a 5-year-old Small Female Dachshund Mix Dog, so I’ve still got a lot of good years ahead of me. I seriously love people, and I also love food. I’m currently a bit of a chonk, but I’m on a special diet to lose some of my extra padding. 

I’d love to go on walks to help control my weight but be warned: I’m stronger than I look. I’m small but mighty! I get so excited when I'm out and about that I can tug on my leash.  

I started attending Happy Paws Happy Hearts because everyone knows I’m a ‘sweetie’! I love hanging out with the participants because they give me lots of treats and attention: my two favourite things. I’m very gentle, so my temperament is ‘paw-fect’ for people of all abilities.
